The challenge
A campaign runs on a hard deadline that never moves: election day. The site has to introduce the candidate, look trustworthy, and make it easy to get in touch and get involved, all before the votes are counted.
What we did
For the 2005 City Council re-election we built a static HTML site with custom graphics and a contact form. For the 2013 County Commissioner run we built votestauber.us in XHTML and later WordPress, with campaign materials and an email signup to keep supporters in the loop. In both cases we took a few ideas and a piece of literature and ran with it.
The outcome
Two campaigns, two websites that carried the candidate's message cleanly to voters. The best endorsement comes straight from the candidate.
I wanted to send a note about the exceptional job Patrick has done with my website. I believe it was instrumental in winning my election bid. What I liked most about working with Patrick was that I only gave him a few ideas and a piece of literature. He took it from there. The colors, graphics, fonts, sounds, pages were all better than I would have imagined. He handled everything. Working with Patrick has been terrific and I would highly recommend him and his work to anyone.
