The well-loved things of the North, online.

A custom website for Old Town Antiques & Books, a Duluth shop of vintage books, records, glass, Lake Superior agates, and curiosities. It carries the same warmth as the store: part guide, part story, part invitation to visit.

The challenge

An antiques and used-book shop has a website problem most stores don't: the inventory changes every week and never repeats, so the site can't be a fixed product catalog. It has to sell the experience, the hunt, the character of the place, and give newcomers the practical details to make the trip downtown.

What we did

We designed and built a custom site that leads with the shop's personality. A "what we carry" guide sets expectations for the kinds of finds on the floor, the owners' story gives the place its voice, and clear visit details cover hours and directions. We added a send-a-postcard feature so visitors can mail a free vintage postcard, a small piece of the shop worth sharing. Warm, lamp-lit photography carries the in-store feel onto the screen.

The outcome

A website that feels like the shop it represents: warm, personal, and inviting. It helps first-time visitors find the door and know what's waiting inside, exactly what a Duluth small business site should do.
