ScribeMR has a new platform live: a service, founded by doctors, that pairs physicians with remote scribes who chart each visit into the doctor's own EMR in real time. That takes real infrastructure, not a brochure site: a secure way to connect a scribe to a physician's computer, dashboards for both sides, and a way to bill for the hours worked.
We built the whole thing in PHP on MySQL, with dashboards for physicians and scribes, an admin center to manage consults and applications, a Citrix GoToMyPC integration so a scribe can connect to a physician's computer remotely, and Stripe wired in for hourly billing.
