Moore Counseling Center has a new website, and it had one job above all: feel safe. For a counseling practice, the site is often the first moment of contact, so the design had to be calm and welcoming and the words had to be gentle, with nothing getting in the way of someone reaching out.
We handled the design and built the site as a custom WordPress theme with a hand-coded foundation, so it stays light and simple to run. We wrote the content too, choosing a tone that puts a visitor at ease instead of talking over them.
