In 1991, a 21-year-old student in Helsinki named Linus Torvalds posted about a free operating system he was building, calling it "just a hobby, won't be big and professional." He was spectacularly wrong. Linux now runs the majority of the world's web servers, nearly every Android phone, and much of the cloud.
It grew because he gave it away and let others build on it, out in the open.
Odds are your website already runs on Linux and other open-source tools, and that's a good thing: it's proven, secure, and free of license traps. We build on that same open foundation, so you're never locked into one vendor's box and your hosting stays flexible and affordable as you grow.
