New shops opened across Duluth this summer

Duluth's summer lineup got a little longer this year. New spots opened around Canal Park and the Lincoln Park Craft District, adding to a neighborhood already thick with makers and eateries. Good news for a summer town.

Here's the pattern we notice every year: the businesses that thrive from opening day aren't always the ones with the best sign on the street. They're the ones a visitor can find at 9pm on their phone, with hours, a menu, an address, and a photo that makes someone walk over.

If you're opening a local shop, the cheapest marketing you'll ever do is a launch-ready website and a claimed Google Business Profile, in place before the first tour bus rolls in. It costs less than a month of ads and works every hour you're closed. Get found first; the foot traffic follows.
