A static site serves the same pre-built pages to everyone. It's fast, cheap to host, and has almost nothing for an attacker to break into. For a business that mostly needs to explain what it does and how to get in touch, that's often the whole job. A dynamic site builds pages on the fly from a database, which is what you want when content changes constantly or visitors log in, place orders, or see something personalized.
The trap is paying for a heavy dynamic setup when a lean static one would serve you better, or the reverse: outgrowing a simple site the day you add a store.
We match the build to how your site actually earns its keep. See how we approach website development, or, if you're selling online, e-commerce. Not sure which camp you're in? Tell us what your site needs to do.
